Hello Bob,

I just wanted to know about the team or new car news? I started watching the races in 1982 at Dragway Park and ever since then it has had an important impact on my life. Your name together with Dragway Park has its own legacy.

Over the years my contacts with the sport included, the Odd Couple team, the Mangov Brothers, Wayne Sipos, the Parts Connection, the Kardiac Kids Funny Car and most recently the Grimsby Automotive Dragster.

Having my own shop to work in, it gives me time to think back to the time when all I thought about was junk yards and speed shops.

Hope to see you at the September national event race!

Martin Hack

Hey Martin,

Thanks for the note and kind words. At one time junk yards and speed shops were an important part of my life also. The first car I fell in love with was a 1953 Cadillac at Crane Auto Wreckers on Cedar Street in Galt, Ontario. These are good memories.

As far as the team goes we are still looking for a corporate partner to be able to
complete our plans. My marketing guys have had some high-level talks with some large
corporations but nothing substantial has come out of these meetings. The boys are working hard to make it happen...here’s hoping!

Thanks again and have a safe and happy new year.

Bob Elliott
