Northern Force Partners with Engineered Racing Services
JUNE 10
The partnership between Northern Force Racing and Engineered Racing Services is about so much more than what happens at the race track. The two iconic Canadian racing brands have joined forces to bring the team's STEM at Speed program to more schools and community events in 2026.
Of those events, the upcoming SoHo Soaper in London, Ontario, which takes place this Sunday, June 14th, starting at 10am, in the downtown region of the city, will be a highlight. The now annual soap box derby style event will feature entries from local schools, businesses and even features a “call out” race between local politicians.
“We’ve been to elementary and secondary schools from Huron County to St. Catherines so far and our next event, the SoHo Soaper, is going to be an absolute blast interacting with competitors in the derby and supporters of the SoHo community”, said Northern Force Racing Driver Jory Elliott. “We’ll have our dragster on display for the duration of the event and have a live demonstration planned as well, which you really don’t see anywhere but at the race track, so bring your ear plugs and get a good seat for that part of the show!”
Of course, it takes resources to deliver these kinds of programs in the community, and thanks to the support of Engineered Racing Services, a Canadian based online auto and performance parts retailer, the logistics and funding to make this a reality were quickly realized.
“From the moment I shared this idea with the gang at Engineered Racing Services, including Owners Lawrence and Greg Wicklum, it was clear they were all in, in a big way, on community related events like this that engage and empower kids”, said Elliott. “Without great partners like these stepping up to provide resources, none of this would be possible, so thank you to the team at ERS.”
